Vijayjee has had the privilege of learning from Kumar Gandharv for twenty two years. Gifted with a melodious voice,Vijayjee has been performing at concerts all over India, including the prestigious Sawai Gandharva Festival in Pune.

Amongst Pt. Kumar Gandharva’s disciples, Vijay ji’s presentation is widely recognized as being very close to that of his Guru. A meditative quality that prevailed in Late Kumarjee’s music can be richly experienced in Vijayjee’s music as well.
